The Kingdom of Paidalot is the brand new membership site for Freelance Writers Academy. We desire to help struggling freelance writers get the resources and training they need to be successful. The following four experts have joined Freelance Writers Academy to help writers all over the world:

Robert Jennings is a freelance blogger, ghostwriter, copy editor and sci-fi novelist. Robert’s blog is The Freelance Rider where he offers a tough love approach to building a freelancing career. His website body checks writers with reality by smashing false perceptions and getting to the root of freelancing problems and fixing them. Robert has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and has been a member of the US Air Force since 2004. He still currently serves in the Air Force Reserve.

Robert knows from experience that freelance writing is not an easy career choice. Since becoming a freelancer, he has hit just about every possible roadblock out there, from lack of clients to lack of motivation.  One of the things he has learned is that there’s about a million people out there willing to tell you how great you are and that you’re doing things just fine. But, that’s not what you need. If you’re going to improve, you need to know what you’re doing wrong. Praise is wonderful, and it’s great for self-esteem, but it does not foster improvement
